Martins Moth Night
FREE EVENT
Come along and join us on this special night and discover the joys of these beautiful, yet misunderstood insects!
Far from being dull and boring, explore the vibrant colours and shapes of these special creatures and be amazed at the varieties of species within the forest which are attracted to the light traps (don’t worry no moths will be harmed!)
This evening is all about moths , and the celebration of the life of Martin Anthony, Gwent County Moth Recorder who dedicated his life to recording the moths of the County whilst helping people discover the fascinating world of Moths! Martin is deeply missed by all who knew him, and this is helped by the dedication of Martin’s Moth nights.
So why not come along and discover the tigers and elephants hiding within the Forest,!!
Please meet at the Visitor Centre @ 8.45pm where tea and coffee will be available before heading out to the traps.
Please dress according to the weather and bring a torch.
We look forward to seeing you!!
